AtmosFAN Does Up Their Dental Office

June 22, 2022 — We know that some people are uneasy when it comes to going to the dentist. So, we have to wonder: Would decorating the dentist office lobby in a full-blown Halloween display make those patients even more uneasy? Of course not – especially if they do it as well as they do at Rayburn Dental Studio in North Battleford, Saskatchewan!

What’s Growing in AtmosFAN’s Pumpkin Patch?

June 8, 2022 — It’s gardening season, and we have some advice: Plant pumpkins! What else could you possibly want to grow?! If the Halloween harvest looks as good as what we discovered at Heath Haunt in Rohnert Park, Calif., we are certain everyone will be doing so. There are some fantastic looking jack-o’-lanterns growing from the strange soil here – as well as many other creepy things!

AtmosFAN’s House has Nearly Everything

May 25, 2022 — When our brains start to get soft during the dreary summer months in the AtmosFX Developmental Dungeon, we like to play our own version of “Where’s Waldo?” to keep sharp. That is, we watch video submissions from AtmosFANs to see how many decorations and projection modes we can find. That brings us to Kimberly H., who has got nearly everything going at her Saint Albans, W.V., home. Kimberly tells us that she’s been decorating with AtmosFX Decorations for 10 years. And with nine projectors currently running – that’s almost one per year!

AtmosFAN’s Yard Becomes Aging Cemetery

May 11, 2022 — We love a good prop – and, even more, we love a yard full of them! Jason Dove has turned the yard at his Aiken, S.C., home into an aging cemetery, loaded with custom-built props. The props, unto themselves, are AtmosFAN worthy. The delipidated headstones and crumbling archway are masterpieces in detail, and when you add a fog machine to radically increase the eeriness factor? Just perfect.

AtmosFAN’s Freaky Facade Inspires

April 27, 2022 — One of our favorite things? DIY haunted houses made by clever fans at their homes. We think the best way to establish a strong vibe at a haunted house is creating a convincing facade at the entrance. With that in mind, we bring you what one AtmosFAN constructed at his Ladera Ranch, Calif., home.

AtmosFAN Shows How Effective Hollusions Can Be

April 13, 2022 — As much as we love massive, electrical grid–stressing Halloween decoration displays, there’s just something deliciously mischievous about seemingly simple displays that, when you don’t expect it, really pack a wallop. That’s the case for John Wilson’s presentation at his Wauchula, Fla., home. Take a look at this video and you’ll see why.

Multiple Display Modes at AtmosFAN’s Halloween Home

March 30, 2022 — As Easter approaches, we’ve got bunnies, eggs and jellybeans on the brain – mostly. But we’ve also got pumpkins, skeletons and ghosts on the brain – Halloween is only eight months away, after all. So why not satisfy both brains with Jim Hanson’s Halloween display – think of it as a Halloween-themed egg hunt. How many different display modes can you find at his Lakeside, Calif., home?

Arachnophobia? Not for this AtmosFAN

March 15, 2022 — Irrational or not, there’s something just creepy about spiders. Especially BIG ones. So you’ve got to hand it to Andrew Knight who decided to go big this past Halloween with an enormous spider display at his Bedfordshire, U.K., home.

Nine Projectors Ablaze at AtmosFAN’s Home

March 2, 2022 — When you get approximately 500 trick-or-treaters to come to your house – in the pouring rain, no less – you know you’re doing something right. That was the case for Sean LeFebvre this past Halloween when he set up nine separate projection displays at his Montreal, Quebec, home.

Space Creatures from AtmosFAN are Out of this World

February 16, 2022 — If you have been paying attention to AtmosFAN of the Week over the years, you’ve likely seen the great work of Fraidy Zone. Last year, she transported us back in time to an incredible ancient Egypt display at her Pacifica, Calif., home. For this past Halloween, Fraidy did one better. She transported us not just to another time, but another planet. There’s a galaxy of great ideas here – including a fantastic alien creature using Eerie Eyes Digital Decoration Collection.

Clever AtmosFAN Builds Mysterious Mirror

February 2, 2022 — This time of year, many of us are faced with two distinct choices: finally take down last year’s Christmas display … or start a new project for Halloween! We think the choice is obvious. So, to give you inspiration, we bring you Shawn Wilson of Salina, Kansas. Using Ghostly Apparitions 3 Digital Decoration Collection and a one-way mirror, he’s created a haunting prop that is truly jaw-dropping.

AtmosFAN Converts Playhouse into Funky Funhouse

January 19, 2022 — We are always looking to find digital decorations in places where you’d least expect them. So, needless to say, we were pretty excited to see that Gavin Gill, of Radford Semele, Warwickshire, U.K., remodeled a children’s playhouse so that it could be inhabited by a pack of mischievous – and sometimes malevolent – jesters.

AtmosFAN Creates Haunted Egyptian Tomb

January 5, 2022 — Now that the New Year has finally arrived, it is always nice to be able to look back and enjoy some of the highlights from the previous year. Like finding a fully intact Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup from Halloween between the cushions of the couch! But what’s probably even better is re-discovering some of our favorite treats from this past Halloween, like this incredibly detailed ancient Egyptian display from Liz Perkins in Farmington, Utah. She calls it the “Perilous Perkins Pyramid.”

AtmosFAN’s Halloween Display Morphs for Christmas

December 29, 2021 — What’s better than a great looking Halloween or Christmas display? A great looking Halloween display that easily converts into a great looking Christmas display! And while James Baldwin would probably say the transition at his Coppell, Texas, home isn’t exactly easy – there’s no arguing about the fantastic results.

AtmosFAN Creates a ‘Singing Snowman’ Choir

December 22, 2021 — Like so many other digital decorators this season, Robert Novotny has taken quite a liking to one of our newest digital decoration collections, Singing Snowman. But here’s what’s different – not only has he created multiple display modes to present them at his Naperville, Ill., home, he’s tweaked the pitch of each one ever-so-slightly, creating a choir of silver-tongued snowmen.

Three AtmosFANs Display the Spirit of Christmas

December 15, 2021 — This time of year, we can never get enough of the holiday spirit on Facebook’s AtmosFX Decorating Community user’s group. There are always incredible ideas on display here, as well as a host of thoughtful community members ready to help answer questions and troubleshoot problems. We’d like to share with you three displays that we were particularly tickled to see.

AtmosFAN Builds Simple, yet Dynamic, Wreath

December 8, 2021 — Looking for a simple way to take a holiday wreath and turn it into a decoration that people cannot take their eyes off of? And do so in a matter of minutes? That’s what Christopher Turner of Montclair, Calif., did. And here’s the best part: He did it by utilizing the portion of the wreath that nobody ever thinks to use – the hole!

AtmosFAN Does Christmas Halloween-style

December 1, 2021 — What’s one awesome way to take decorating for Christmas up a notch? Oh, the answer is easy. Decorating for Christmas – Halloween-style! That’s exactly what we have at the Rohr Manor in Murietta, Calif. – a magnificent mash-up of holidays.

AtmosFAN Creates a Great Pumpkin

November 25, 2021 — Anyone who has watched a Peanuts television special during Halloween knows about the “Great Pumpkin.” Well, with apologies to Charles M. Schultz, there’s the Great Pumpkin, and then there’s Michael Lamb’s GREAT pumpkin. We are pretty amazed with the display he put together at his Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., home.

Revisiting AtmosFAN’s Display, One Year Later

November 17, 2021 — We were blown away by Sabour Amirazodi’s display he sent us last year – so much so, we featured his “Haunted Sanctuary” last July as AtmosFAN of the Week. Anytime you see a spectacular display, it always makes us wonder: What’d they do the following year? We went back to see what Sabour did this year at his Yorba Linda, Calif., home. And we are happy to report that Sabour’s 2021 Halloween display did not disappoint.

AtmosFANs Celebrate Halloween Around the World

November 11, 2021 — Over the years, we’ve seen great AtmosFX Digital Decoration displays all over the world. And we admit, even with AtmosFANS in more than 150 countries, we still get a tingle down our spine every time we see a display, as we say, in the wild. And that’s doubly the case when we see displays outside the United States. After all, doesn’t everyone want to see what Halloween looks like around the globe? (Hint: It looks like fun!)

AtmosFAN Builds a Trunk-or-Treat for the (Prehistoric) Ages

November 3, 2021 — We love seeing out-of-the-box digital decoration displays during the Halloween season. It affirms what we have always known: The creative AtmosFANs around the globe will always find new and surprising ways to digitally decorate. Ways we never even thought of! This week we want to highlight what we call out-of-the-hatchback thinking. Grant Roberts created this clever twist at this Halloween event in Logan Township, N.J. Needless to say, this Jurassic Park–themed display delivered chills and thrills – just like ghosts and monsters do!
