When longtime AtmosFAN Brice G.’s daughter approached her 30th birthday about this time last year, she decided to celebrate in style by renting a historic castle near where she lived in Clerey, Aube, France. But this wasn’t going to be just any party — the birthday girl had a vision of bringing to life Francis Ford Coppola’s famed 1992 move, Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Brice knew just how to make it happen.
“My daughter chose four AtmosFX Decorations which were (displayed) on one of the interior walls of the mansion,” Brice tells us. The selections were carefully curated to create the perfect ambiance: Inferno, Paranormal Passage, Blood Walls, and the “Going Batty” individual decoration from the Tricks and Treats Decoration Collection.
This time of year, most of us are thinking about these decorations in regards to Halloween, but Brice reminds us that they can be the perfect addition to any party – especially if you are hosting a vampire-themed soiree!
The use of Blood Walls is particularly striking, where the crimson splatters projected onto the white walls adds a macabre touch to the elegant setting. The use of Paranormal Passage looks great, too! We love how the grand hall is bathed in a deep red glow, and the long tables are adorned with candelabras and dark linens to create an atmosphere of Gothic luxury.
“The theme chosen was Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola, so we decorated everything on this theme,” Brice says. The AtmosFX Decorations seamlessly blended with the other party decor, creating an immersive experience that seemingly transported guests straight to Transylvania.
Of course, we should not be surprised by Brice’s decorating skills – we’ve seen a ton of great stuff from him over the years. And it is not all creepy, too – like this Christmas Carolers display he creates during the holidays.
All to say, Brice’s creative use of AtmosFX Decorations demonstrates their versatility beyond the Halloween season.
