Crites! Critter Habitat in AtmosFAN’s Jeep

What’s not to love when AtmosFANs create strange habitats for strange beasts in strange places? Sort of like the Critters from the 1986 feature film! Of course, that’s exactly what Elisabeth R. of Marlinton, West Virginia, has done with a fabulous “trunk-or-treat” display in the back of her Jeep.

Trunk-or-treat events have become popular over the past few years as a way to gather together kids from across the community in a safe and fun way. Adults bring their cars to a parking lot and costumed kids go car-to-car trick-or-treating.

Heck, it’s also a fun way to dress-up cars for Halloween. Why should humans have all the fun?

Clearly, Elisabeth was also having a lot of fun, too, remodeling the back of her Jeep to mimic the charmingly low-budget monster flick. “Kids and adults loved the trunk-or-treat Critters-inspired display,” she tells us. “There was even a nest with several eggs.”

We love all the detail! And when it comes to creating those quietly observing eyeballs with Eerie Eyes Decoration Collection, to hear Elisabeth tell it, it was easy.

“Eyes were put on tablets and phones and hung in cardboard frames painted black, throughout the back of the Jeep,” she says. “Vegetation camouflaged the frames. Parts of a skeleton and dismembered fingers helped the illusion that it was a monster habitat.”
