Our Three Favorite Window Displays (So Far)!

Each year, the use of AtmosFX Decorations grows as well as the incredibly creative ways AtmosFX fans use them. Of course, that makes us want to ask: What are some of our favorite ways fans are using AtmosFX Decorations?

The possibilities are endless. That said, we'll focus on the five main ways people display AtmosFX Decorations — on walls, in windows, as Hollusions, on props, and with TV/monitors.

We started with the easiest way to display AtmosFX Decorations, Wall Mode (which is also great for ceilings, or floors). Now, we progress to what might be the most popular way of displaying them: Window Mode. For the uninitiated, the process is simple. Place AtmosFX’s Window Projection Material (or the material that comes included with our kits), in a window. Then project onto it from inside the house. From the outside, it will appear ghosts have inhabited your home, Santa is making a visit, or numerous other effects made possible by AtmosFX!

Below are three AtmosFX Window displays that we've found particularly captivating.

Wall-to-Wall Zombie, Ghost & Spider Infestation

Everything is done right in this YouTube video. All 10 front-facing windows effectively utilize AtmosFX Digital Decorations. The undead from Zombie Invasion! have taken over the second floor (except for Ghostly Apparitions’ “Beckoning Beauty” at the far left), and the specters of Phantasms are haunting the ground floor. Above all, we love the crystal-clear presentation and combination with the exterior props!

Guaranteeing a White Christmas in Las Vegas

We’ve seen some clever displays from Lyle C., but we were especially tickled when we saw this. To create a white Christmas morning at his Las Vegas home, Lyle set up his projector on his patio and projected the pastoral snowy scenes of AtmosFX’s Winter Wonderland in through his windows! It's a clever reversal of the usual Window Mode.

German Fan Goes All Out for Halloween

We believe displaying AtmosFX Decorations should be easy. At the same time, we love seeing people go all out, like Timo Fischer. Timo put together this incredibly thorough tutorial showing how he was able to coordinate displays in all four windows of his home, making ghosts appear to roam throughout his home in Walldorf, Germany.
