We always love to see how Halloween fans celebrate the holiday in other parts of the world. Then again, after we took a look at what Spencer J. created at his London, United Kingdom, home, we’re not sure anyone celebrates Halloween like this!Spencer calls his presentation “Ivors Grave Halloween Spooktacular” and, as you can see when the camera pans towards the audience, it has become quite a hit in his London neighborhood. You can’t quite see it because of all the children ooo-ing and ahh-ing in the foreground, but there are even seats for those who want to take in the 30-minute production.
Spencer’s Spooktacular looks like a projection mapping display, in that he is using the entire facade of his home (and then some!) as his projection screen and using a single projector to display “mapped” images. Instead, Spencer has strategically placed his nine projectors in just the right spots, and then coordinated the entire display by computer. Clearly, he’s put a lot of thought and effort into the process – the timing is great!
You’ll find AtmosFX Decorations spread throughout Spencer’s display – often in prominent spots – as well as a ton of additional digital content, too. He’s mixed it all together to create something of a theatrical performance, where the Boo Crew ghosts appear, not just flying around, but on the 3DFX Form. Elsewhere, we see the Bone Chillers skeletons dance, and … well, everyone dances when the Jack-O’-Lantern Jamboree 3 gourds sing Ghostbusters, right?
