Great Ways to Use ‘Christmas Carolers’

Everyone loves it when small groups of singers come to your doorstep, singing joyful carols on a crisp winter evening. That is, until they stay too long and consume the last of your boozy eggnog! That, of course, is not an issue with Christmas Carolers Digital Decoration Collection which keeps the good cheer going all season long.

For those unfamiliar, Christmas Carolers features a small chorus of Victorian-era carolers who sing eight beloved holiday songs, including Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Here We Come a Wassailing. (Click here to see all eight carols.) The music is spirited and uplifting – and the costumes are pitch perfect. No matter where you display it, it is sure to bring smiles.

But where to best display it? We have some ideas for you.

Gather a crowd

Wherever you display Christmas Carolers, it is going to gather a crowd. So make sure you consider where people will be able to congregate. For obvious reasons, some of the most common ways to display the digital decoration – as with nearly all AtmosFX Digital Decorations! – are in your front window and on your garage door. Both areas are usually some of the larger canvases on which to project your decorations, and both often have an area where people gather (such as the sidewalk or driveway).

For all eight carols contained in the digital decoration, there are three backgrounds from which to choose – Victorian square, parlour room, or no background. For a window projection at the front of your house, the parlour room looks great – people passing by will be impressed with your interior decorating (not to mention your charming guests). For your garage door, or other large outdoor surfaces, the Victorian square works incredibly well. Especially if you have other old-timey props and decorations, these carolers will fit right in.

No matter when you project these Christmas Carolers, remember to have a speaker system set up – after all, the joyful music is what is likely to gather others. Typically, a Bluetooth connection is all you need to broadcast the good cheer.

It doesn’t have to be big

Christmas Carolers Digital Decoration Collection isn’t just for large displays outdoors. There are countless other places to display them.

For instance, if you are hosting a holiday party or family gathering, simply display the digital decoration on your TV. With almost no effort, you’ll have a dynamic decoration wherever people are gathering. And the sound will be great, of course, which will bring good cheer throughout your home even if they can’t see the screen!

If you like displaying the Christmas Carolers on a screen, you can also copy it onto a digital picture frame or tablet, and then set it up on a table or bookshelf amongst all the other decorations and photos. Even at a small size, it is sure to gather attention. Along those same lines, if you have a Christmas Village display at your home, you can copy the digital decoration onto an unused smartphone and stick it in a window or doorway. The carolers will bring the Christmas Village to life!

Consider a surprise

You have read about some of the more effective (and common) ways to use Christmas Carolers – but you are not limited to that! As with all AtmosFX Digital Decorations, there is no limit to the ways you can display them.

For instance, you can set up some Hollusion Projection Material in a darker corner of your yard, and display the carolers (with no background) onto it. It’ll be slightly mysterious, even ghostlike, but it is sure to gather crowds.

And speaking of ghostlike – the Christmas Carolers are an essential component for those who like to create a digital decoration version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. That’s right – anything goes! In fact, we have a how-to article right here if you want to try it yourself!
