AtmosFAN Combines 3DFX Form with Wall Display

Last week we introduced you to a perfect pumpkin mode display created by a YouTuber who goes by the handle of TFD360. We also suggested he wasn’t done. He wasn’t – and neither are we! Among the many great things in his Halloween display, check out how he combines the use of a 3DFX Form with a massive wall display!

We love what TFD360 has done here. It is, at once, both a simple setup, but also complex in that it creates great depth. Anytime you can present two different AtmosFX Decorations in two different depths of field, you are building a display that will attract – and keep! – viewers. And who doesn’t want that on Halloween?

TFD360 starts with a large back-projected display of Halloween Monster Bash Decoration on large panels of projection material. This always gets the crowd moving! Then, he set up in the foreground a 3DFX Form and projected a collection of AtmosFX characters onto it. This creates compelling depth. And because he’s back-projecting the other display, neither casts a shadow on the other.

One thing we haven’t seen very often: TFD360 uses a combination of AtmosFX Decorations that are specifically designed for the 3DFX Form (Halloween Hosts, Boo Crew and others), as well as others that are not (Phantasms). They look great! It just goes to show what you can do if you have just a little bit of video editing skill to make the characters fit in the space that you are presenting them.

Lastly, don’t forget to make it to the end of the video. TFD360 does a great job timing the video so that, at the end when the Monsters finish their dance, one singular character remains. It is a show stopper!

How are you preparing for the upcoming Halloween season? We want to see it! Send your photos and videos to us using this easy online submission form. If yours is chosen to be the next AtmosFAN of the Week, you’ll receive AtmosFX Kudos and a free decoration collection!
