Who cares about zoning codes when a Halloween display looks this cool? We’re thinking the neighbors would be willing to forgive Connor W. for constructing such a massive graveyard in his Regina, Saskatchewan, neighborhood – after all, the detail is simply amazing!
Contained in Connor’s “Never Rest Cemetery” has a little bit of everything – strike that – a whole lot of everything. Nearly every type of decoration display mode is found somewhere in the cemetery grounds, each of which is done really well. But we’ll start with the entrance to the graveyard grounds because, well, that’s where you start at any creepy graveyard!
We love the brick and ornamental iron fencing and arch that sets the tone for Connor’s entire display. Embedded into the structural brick post at the entrance – a screen featuring Halloween Window Decoration. The spooky digital stained-glass images let the visitor know they’re in for something magical.
Which is absolutely true throughout Connor’s Halloween display. He makes great use of both garage doors – back-projecting Halloween Monster Bash and Eerie Eyes decoration collections in the opening. Not only does it protect his projectors from a potentially harsh Halloween on the Canadian prairie, but when people come closer to inspect the decoration, they won’t get in front of the projector’s beam. (We also love the teeth around the garage opening – something that might keep curious onlookers from coming closer to inspect the decoration!)
Like any good cemetery, the more and more you explore it, the more unsettling things you might find. The Halloween tree with lighted jack-o’-lantern ornaments is spectacular. And speaking of which – quietly tucked away just a pumpkin’s roll away are the loquacious gourds of Jack-O’-Lantern Jamboree Decoration Collection. Elsewhere? The jolly ghosts of Boo Crew Decoration glide above it all, and an AtmosFX Decorating Disc looms in a dark corner, with the menacing Sinister Shadows Decoration on display.
And that, of course, isn’t even the half of it! Each time we go though Connor’s video, we find something else in which to be in awe. And if that’s the case for us, just think of what Connor’s neighbors might find, given that they are fortunate enough to see it every day!
