Halloween may be over, but its joys are not quite dead … yet! Of course, we’re talking about getting one last thrill at your local haunted house before they go dormant for the year. If you look around, you can still find haunted attractions open this weekend like:
- Seattle's "Georgetown Morgue"
- Denver’s "City of the Dead" (open through Nov. 11)
- Salt Lake City’s "Nightmare on 13th" and "Fear Factory"
- New York's "Blood Manor"
- Montgomery (IL)'s "Massacre Haunted House"
- Fort Worth's "Cutting Edge"
- Norcross (VA)'s "Netherworld" (closes the 5th)
There are quite a few more around the country. We are always checking with our friends at Frightfind.com to see the numerous haunted attractions available – an incredible resource. Of course, make sure to check the individual websites of attractions to confirm – because the only thing scarier than a haunted house is a closed haunted house! Comment below if you know of others that are open this weekend.
Want even more? Need some fears and frights when everyone else is singing Christmas carols? Well, if you thought October was the only scary month of the year, you’d be dead wrong. This December (8,9,15,16) "Nile Nightmares Haunted House" (Shoreline, WA) is summoning all its evil elves and crazed creatures for a special holiday gift you will not soon forget.
Stay tuned. We'll keep you posted not only on scary holiday events but what family-friendly digital decorations we have coming out, such as our new Happy Thanksgiving decoration, as well as what Santa is up to with all his friends. Halloween is just the start and we're going to make all the holidays happy ones!
