Halloween may be in the rearview mirror, but we’re not ready to let it go just yet. With that in mind, we give you Michael M. of Fishers, Indiana, whose Halloween proves that a clean, well-executed setup can be just as impressive as the most elaborate productions.
Michael’s approach is refreshingly straightforward: he doesn’t try to do too much. Instead, he creates a cohesive display that flows from one end of his property to the other, anchored by smart uses of AtmosFX Decorations.
That’s evident straight out of the gate – at his gate! He’s stretched Hollusion Projection Material across the wrought iron, where the skeletons from Bone Chillers Decoration Collection have gathered together to menace those who approach. And then, into thin air, they’re gone! It’s a clever use of space that transforms something ordinary into something magical.
We also love how Michael utilized his two-car garage door, which he transformed into a haunting graveyard scene from the Ghostly Apparitions 4 Decoration Collection. By projecting the Grave Robber across the entire expanse, he creates remarkable depth and scale – almost as though the garage door has become a portal to another world.
Elsewhere, you’ll find a quality pumpkin prop display using the Jack-O’-Lantern Jamboree decorations and a solid use of the 3DFX Form, where the old crone from Witching Hour Decoration Collection, greets trick-or-treaters at the front door.
The neighbors have taken notice. “Very positive feedback on the decorations,” Michael tells us. “They’re amazed by the digital effects and want me to leave them up past Halloween.”
Well, you certainly have our permission, Michael! Your display is proof that you don’t need to fill every square foot of your yard to create something memorable – sometimes a well-planned, cleanly executed display is exactly what Halloween calls for.
