Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of things you can do to create a truly awe-inspiring Halloween display. But a massive ghostly galleon, sailed right up to your house and docked in the front yard? That’s what Asama W. has done at his Arlington, Texas, home and, aye mateys, we are definitely in uncharrrrrrrrrrted waters! It goes without saying that Asama’s pirate ship is a sight to behold – just look at the sheer size of it! But the intricate details including the tattered sails, the skeleton crew (get it?) and the all-white exterior creates an otherworldly atmosphere that transports onlookers into a weird world of the supernatural.
It’s no wonder that Asama’s ghostly pirate ship is a must-see Texas-size Halloween attraction. “People love the Pirates of Halloween display,” Asama tells us. “AtmosFX combined with the Black Dragon pirate ship is a huge hit.”
Asama is talking about the use of the Ghostly Apparitions 3 Decoration Collection, and projecting the Ghost Pirate onto the semi-transparent screen he’s hung from the fence. The result is a massive “startle scare” projected between two menacing skeleton faces printed on the material. The size and intensity certainly befits the entire the Pirates of Halloween display.
We also love how the Ghost Pirate makes another subtle appearance elsewhere in this display. Asama has incorporated him into an archway within the house, where the spectral buccaneer appears to be drowning in an otherworldly ocean.
Great work, Asama! We love the big-time display you’ve brought to your Arlington home.
