AtmosFAN’s Spider Egg Hatch Here for Easter

Easter eggs? Sure, fine. But we’re AtmosFX, so naturally we’re also thinking about spider eggs. Greg C. of Hopewell, Virginia, was clearly thinking about that, too, when he created a corpse wrapped in spider webs for his Halloween display. With the help of Creepy Crawlies 2 Decoration Collection, it appears we’ve got a hatch!

Greg has been creating Halloween displays at his Hopewell home for nearly 20 years, entertaining his community with props and decorations he largely builds himself. Oak Lane Cemetery, as the neighborhood knows it, has become a neighborhood tradition.

We recommend you take a look at the entirety of Greg’s work on Oak Lane Cemetery’s YouTube channel or Facebook page, but we prefer to revel in this one particular prop. After all, with Easter coming, who doesn’t have eggs on their mind?

The prop looks cool enough by itself, but by projecting Creepy Crawlies 2 onto the corpse, Greg takes it to another level. The projection makes it appear that spider eggs have hatched inside the body, with the baby spiders crawling out, ready to find their next meal.

It almost reminds us of a chocolate bunny, with a different type of gooey surprise inside!

Send us your photos and videos using this simple online submission form! Every submission will earn you points redeemable at the AtmosFX online store. And if you are selected as a future AtmosFAN of the Week, not only will you inspire fellow decorators around the world – you'll earn a free decoration collection, too!
