AtmosFAN’s House a Neighborhood Legend After Epic Halloween Night

Most people worry about running out of candy on Halloween night, but AtmosFAN Robin K. of Burlingame, California, had a different problem: running out of space for the 3,000-plus trick-or-treaters who showed up. The multi-story, multi-projection display was so popular that it couldn’t even be filmed during the actual event – there were simply too many people crowding around to see all the exquisite detail.

This is what makes big, bold Halloween displays so great. We love how Robin has maximized every projection opportunity the home offers – starting with a Hollusion Mode display featuring a Halloween Monster Bash display squarely on the front porch, where scheming monsters appear to materialize in thin air.

Of course, that’s not the only use of Hollusion Projection Material. Robin set up a cemetery in the front of the house where a skeleton from Bone Chillers Decoration Collection appears to be read to dig up some graves among the tombstones. The positioning creates a perfect illusion that the undead are hard at work in the Halloween graveyard.

Perhaps most impressive is Robin’s commitment to using every window in their two-story home. Heck, we’ll even forgive the fact that there are a few non-AtmosFX decorations displayed in the upstairs windows! The use of the Witching Hour Decoration Collection in the downstairs window is particularly convincing.

“We had many neighbors walking by who stopped to watch and told us they loved the decorations and asked how we did them; especially Witching Hour in the window,” Robin tells us. “I even got a compliment that our house was the best in a very popular Halloween neighborhood.”

That’s quite an achievement in any neighborhood, but especially impressive in an area already known for its Halloween displays. Robin’s success demonstrates how thoughtful use of multiple projection surfaces can transform a single home into a Halloween destination.

“The videos provided were taken the night before at a practice set up because we had over 3,000 trick-or-treaters by 8:30 p.m.,” Robin says. “There was no time nor space to take videos during Halloween.”
