Most people use their garage to park cars, but AtmosFAN Stephanie R. of Meridian, Idaho, had a more ambitious vision: turning hers into the gaping maw of a fire-breathing dragon. Her commitment to an all-dragon Halloween theme proves that sometimes the best displays are born from embracing one fantastical idea and running with it.
Stephanie has transformed her entire home into a dragon’s lair worthy of Westeros. Naturally, we are drawn to her garage door, which has been converted into a dragon’s mouth complete with hand-painted menacing teeth and eyes. What powers the fire from the beast’s throat? Inferno Decoration Collection.
You can also see Inferno in the window elsewhere in Stephanie’s display. Of course, there is a lot else to see – we love how the dragon theme extends throughout the entire property, as well as colorful lighting, and fantastical and medieval touches in every corner. And, too, we love the nod to Game of Thrones – not that we need a “Dracarys” sign to know that dragonfire has already seemed to have reigned down on Stephanie’s home. Her hard work and clever touches makes that evident!
As detailed as it is, we were impressed to learn that this was the first year her family developed this theme. “We change up our decorations every Halloween and last year was dragons,” Stephanie tells us. “We have people who come by every night to watch our displays.”
We can see why! The nightly return visitors are a testament to the appeal of Stephanie’s playful – and thorough – approach. We can’t wait to find out what she does this year!
