Two years ago, AtmosFAN Amy R. of Woodville, Ontario, Canada, turned her property into a supernatural crossroads where multiple witch covens had gathered. Her neighbors loved it. So naturally, for the following Halloween, the pressure was on. The answer? The Sleepy Hollow Dead & Breakfast – complete with the Headless Horseman himself riding through her front doorway.

You can read about Amy’s first AtmosFAN-winning display here. As you’ll notice, Amy prefers to build a fully themed Halloween experience – where every element serves the larger story. It is what makes her displays so compelling! (Oh, and some very well done digital effects.) And while the witches are gone from her first display, the ambition is very much still here.
Her Halloween 2025 theme centered on the legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Amy committed fully. The Headless Horseman makes his entrance through her front doorway – perhaps he’s the proprietor coming to greet his guests? The effect – Hollusion Projection Material stretched across the door’s opening – looks fantastic. What makes this particularly impressive is what you don’t see: the projector. Amy positions it off to one side and adjusts the keystone so the image looks perfect in the doorway while the projector beam stays completely out of frame. In a narrow space, that’s no small feat.

Legends of Halloween Decoration Collection supplies the Horseman himself, while elsewhere in the display, Amy has tons of props, colored lights and other digital decoration displays going on. We particularly love the perfect Sleepy Hollow atmosphere created by the Halloween Moon Decoration Collection. How can you not stare at the ominous full moon hanging over the proceedings?
In answer to the above question, maybe it’s because you’re staring at those eerie glowing twins! That’s the Twisted Twins from Ghostly Apparitions 3 Decoration Collection, perfectly displayed on a garden arch using Hollusion Projection Material. Former guests – and perhaps eternal guests – of the Dead & Breakfast, one assumes.

“The neighbors couldn’t wait to see what this year’s theme was going to be following last year’s witches theme,” Amy recalls. “That was a hard one to beat!”
She clearly found a way. And with Halloween 2026 just around the corner, one might guess Amy is planning something new. We cannot wait to see it!
