AtmosFAN Converts Playhouse into Funky Funhouse

One of our favorite ways to experience digital decorations is to encounter them in surprising places – locations where you’d least expect to find them. In our view, already amazing digital decorations are profoundly more impactful when you happen upon them in unsuspecting places.

For this reason, we were pretty excited to see that Gavin Gill, of Radford Semele, Warwickshire, U.K., remodeled a children’s playhouse this past Halloween so that it could be inhabited by a pack of mischievous – and sometimes malevolent – jesters.

It’s a simple display – something that didn’t take much time for Gavin to set up. And that’s its beauty. Simply place some Window Projection Material in the entrance and a short-throw projector inside the playhouse. In no time, you’ve got a captivating – and strangely disorienting – display.

It’s that disorienting nature of the display that makes it work so well. The display of Creepy Clowns Digital Decoration Collection is sharp and realistic – yet roughly half the size of reality. And because it, at once, looks both totally normal and totally not normal – that’s where you create that eerie sensation. And isn’t that exactly what you want to do on Halloween?

To be sure, Gavin’s Halloween display features a lot more than just his terrific playhouse-turned-funhouse – he’s got an entire yard full of Halloween goodness that, he tells us, his entire village cannot wait to see each year. But from the standpoint of doing something really well that is sure to knock the socks off anyone who encounters it – Gavin’s funhouse is a standout success!
