Sahara S. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, solved this challenge by mounting three television monitors on her wall to display UnLiving Portraits and Terrors from Beyond decoration collections. Framed like traditional pictures, these digital decorations create atmosphere without cluttering walkways – crucial when you’re hosting many guests.
Like Lyle, Sahara also makes effective use of window projections, displaying Witching Hour Decoration Collection by projecting into her house from outside. This technique works particularly well for parties because it creates visual interest visible from multiple rooms while keeping equipment and projectors out of guests’ way.
Don’t Forget the Small Surprises

We love how Stacy P. of Roy, Utah, created party decoration showcases nearly every AtmosFX display mode available: window, wall, Hollusion, TV/monitor and prop modes. Her Hollusion display particularly stands out – she stretched Hollusion Projection Material over a faux archway nestled among props and colorful lights. With tight material and no projector light spill, the effect creates genuinely floating transparent apparitions.
She also creates a “ghoulish gallery” by combining the Possessed Portrait individual decoration from Paranormal Passage Decoration Collection on her wall with TV mode displays from UnLiving Portraits. This mixing of display modes creates visual variety that keeps guests engaged throughout the party.

What these three decorators share is thoughtful planning. Stacy plans year-round for her annual Halloween party, and the results speak for themselves – she went from four trick-or-treaters to 70 kids, with carloads of families specifically seeking out her decorated home. Sahara hosts two separate parties using the same decorations, maximizing her effort by entertaining both children and adults without changing a thing.
