We are like the rest of you – we all need a few more happy surprises these days. So, even though Easter is behind us, we thought we’d share three great submissions from our AtmosFANs that gave us a pleasant jolt of springtime joy. Think of this like finding a hidden egg in your sofa cushions a couple of weeks after Easter – an unexpected treat! (OK, bad example.)
But you get our point: Easter may be in the past, but there’s still plenty of joy to be found in these submissions, all terrific displays using AtmosFX’s Hoppy Easter Digital Decoration. Let’s go!
Blake Hambleton - Richmond, Texas
Blake and his family have been displaying Halloween and Christmas decorations for five years, but they’d never done Easter. With social distancing protocols in place at his Texas home, they decided this would be the perfect time to begin.They constructed this elaborate display for the neighborhood kids, so that they and their parents could safely drive by in their cars and enjoy the show. Blake’s wife even distributed an “Eye Spy” scavenger hunt list throughout the neighborhood, so kids could sit in their cars and spot the many details!
Rich Phillips - Bakersfield, California
We came across Rich’s buoyant Easter display on Facebook’s AtmosFX Decorating Community – a great place to swap ideas and correspond with other digital decorators. Rich, who has been decorating for Easter and other holidays for more than a decade, certainly thinks so. “I really enjoy seeing everyone’s decorations, he tells us. “It helps my creativity, as well, to see all the different decorations.” We love the rich pink and purple colors here – it just screams “springtime,” even at night.
William Conrad - Gilbert, Arizona
This whole-house projection display looks absolutely fantastic – and the setup couldn’t be easier. According to William, setting up the projector takes only five minutes. Creating the projection map takes longer – from 45 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the complexity of his display. (He’s created many!) “We have people drive by and love to hear kids screaming with joy at the sight of the Easter Bunny,” he tells us.
