When your coworkers say they want to live in your office, you’ve either created something amazing or the area has seriously questionable housing standards. In the case of AtmosFAN Julie M. of Cornville, Arizona, it’s definitely the former – her pirate-themed office featuring Bone Chillers: Pirates Decoration Collection has become the most popular room in the entire police department.
As you can see in the image above, Julie has transformed her workspace into a pirate’s cave, complete with stone walls, treasure, tropical plants, atmospheric lighting, and plenty of skeletal props. By Julie’s own admission, the centerpiece is a wall projection of Bone Chillers: Pirates – one of AtmosFX’s newest releases. We love seeing our newest decorations in the wild! We also love how Julie has perfectly matched the cave atmosphere around her surface projection.
“I work at my city’s police department and like to go all out with my Halloween decor,” Julie tells us. “This year I decided to decorate my office at work with a pirate theme. The new AtmosFX Bone Chillers: Pirates collection was the perfect addition and is the ‘crown jewel’ of the entire room.”
The cohesive design is what makes Julie’s office so impressive. By decorating the back wall to simulate the cave settings, she’s created an immersive environment where the digital and physical elements work together seamlessly.
“My co-workers, including the Police Chief, have been waiting anxiously, since last year, to see this year’s theme. They are amazed!” Julie says. “Many of them have said they just want to live in my office. Word has gotten around and I even have staff, from other city departments, stopping by to enjoy the show.”
The popularity of Julie’s office has turned it into an unlikely destination – which might be one of the few times people voluntarily seek out a police station just to see what’s inside.
With expectations now running high, Julie is already thinking ahead. “Now that expectations are high, I hope I can take it up a notch next Halloween, and am quite sure that more of the AtmosFX digital collections will be involved.”
