AtmosFAN’s Haunted Hotel Raises Spirits … and Donations

Looking for a hotel in Arlington, Tennessee, with tons of character? How about tons of characters – most of which are from beyond the grave? The Dark Crossing Haunted Hotel offers a visit you’ll never forget – if you dare to keep your eyes open.

Below, make sure to view the entire video to see the entire Dark Crossing Haunted Hotel. But first, like in any quality hotel, we start in the lobby.

Here, visitors are greeted by an unsettling sight: an aged bellboy whose best days are clearly behind him. Indeed, it is the ornate portrait of an elegant woman that seems to have the most life! Of course, this is no ordinary painting. Thanks to the UnLiving Portraits Decoration Collection from AtmosFX, this seemingly innocent artwork springs to life, giving unsuspecting guests a shock they won’t soon forget.

For years, UnLiving Portraits has been a favorite of Halloween decorators (and pranksters) who have used the decoration to create a hauntingly immersive experience. The meticulously crafted false wall cleverly conceals a television playing the AtmosFX Decoration, while the framing adds an extra layer of realism. It’s a masterclass in misdirection that would make any illusionist proud – and any visitor jump out of their skin!

Venturing beyond the lobby, visitors find themselves immersed in a colorful world of Halloween haunting. A hotel sign flickers invitingly, daring brave souls to approach. The front yard is a playground of spooky fun, featuring creepy trees, eerie figures, and glowing jack-o’-lanterns that seem to watch your every move. The giant semi-submerged skeleton? It looks great!

Indeed, the entire presentation looks spectacular – it is no wonder folks from all around Arlington come to check it out. And that’s not even the best reason to love it.

The Dark Crossing Haunted Hotel isn’t content with merely frightening its patrons. It has a higher purpose. “We do have a donation box, and 100% of every penny goes to St. Jude Children’s Hospital,” we are told. After six years, they have raised more than $11,000.

Is this what Halloween is all about – creativity and community spirit? The Dark Crossing Haunted Hotel has it all, combining old-fashioned ingenuity with a generous dose of compassion. Make sure to check out the Dark Crossing Haunted Hotel Facebook page to see what they are up to in the coming year!
