Is it possible for multiple people to have the exact same nightmare, at the exact same time? Even across the globe? When we got a look at AtmosFAN Simon E.’s video sent to us from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom, we got to thinking it might be possible. He’s cranked out a terrific gravestone prop using our newest decoration – Nightmares Decoration Collection. Not only does it look great, he’s put together an awesome step-by-step guide showing how you can make it yourself.
We won’t kid you – the first time we see any of our newest decorations out in the wild, we get a bit excited. Anytime, really. But, as you can see in the video, Simon’s creation is worthy of every bit of praise.
Essentially, Simon takes a standard hardware-store gravestone prop and, instead of placing it directly in his front yard, he goes Dr. Frankenstein on it. Simon guts the interior, creating a void in which he can insert a video monitor. Over it, he inserts a one-way mirror.
The one-way mirror is key. It’s the perfect way to draw onlookers in – it’s almost impossible to not look into a mirror, right? And when they do – BAM! – you trigger your AtmosFX Decoration and surprise the living daylights outta them. And because it’s a video monitor stored inside the gravestone, Simon can shock onlookers with any AtmosFX Decoration he chooses.
Of course, we love that Simon chose Nightmares Decoration Collection. And not just because it was unleashed upon the world just a few days ago. After all, if you are seeking to surprise trick-or-treaters who have come to your Halloween decoration display, why wouldn’t you do so with the creepiest decoration you could find?
