For more than 15 years, AtmosFX has been bringing holiday magic to hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. We’ve always believed that, regardless of whatever is going on in the world, holidays are meant to be special moments that bring people together.
However, that doesn’t mean what’s going on in the world doesn’t affect us; unfortunately, it has affected AtmosFX in a big way.
Sadly, the company is at a point where we need help to survive. Celebrating holidays will always be a seasonal business. That means the belt always gets tight during the offseason. This year in particular, though, even tightening the belt won’t get us through the holiday season.

The cost of content development increases each year. Moreover, fees for our ecommerce, messaging, marketing, and warehouse platforms keep going up. And while many new opportunities have opened to us with great partners like illumibot, BenQ, Showcase Holograms, and more, as they say, “it takes money to make money.”
We strongly believe in the future of AtmosFX, and we know you do, too. For this reason, we are taking the extraordinary step of initiating a $250,000 GoFundMe campaign to bridge the gap. The campaign will be structured as a “dynamic goal adjustment,” which means it will start small, but as awareness and support grows, it will increase to the target goal. Your generous contributions will help us pay off existing debt, continue our planned live-action shoots, and most importantly, keep the lights on so the Mad Geniuses in the AtmosFX Developmental Dungeon can stay hard at work on the season’s Halloween and Christmas decorations.
To speak plainly, without your help, AtmosFX will be forced to shut down.
Still, we will be working as hard as always. We are continuing work on our upcoming Halloween decorations – we think you should take a peek at the newest ghosts on the GoFundMe page. (Just click on the carousel.) We’ve also got a lot of additional ideas in the works, some of which you’ve seen already. Our partnerships with illumibot, focused on projection mapping, and Showcase Holograms, with the new Halloween Hologram Box, are a testament to our continued creative thinking. (Speaking of the Halloween Hologram Box, we want to assure everyone that ALL preorders will be shipped early fall, regardless of our fate. Showcase Holograms will see to that!)
It has been a difficult year for us. Despite this, we are always looking for reasons to celebrate. If an AtmosFX Decoration has ever made your friends and family laugh or smile during the holidays, we are asking for your support.
